Golf Performance and Health
Our Golf Performance and Health programs have two main categories. For healthy golfers our primary goals are to help you improve your mobility, stability, power, and body control. This will allow you to improve your body’s overall function, and let you focus on striking the ball with more power and efficiency. If you are a high level golfer, this will give you the best opportunity to translate all of the work that you put in with your golf professional or swing coach into making your golf swing the most efficient and consistent it has ever been.
Injured golfers often require pain management, correction of biomechanics and posture, and core activation training. Once these areas are under control, a return to golf with a corrective exercise program is essential to maintaining optimum health and performance levels. Our team will work with you to treat the causes of your injury and get you back to playing a pain-free round as soon as possible.
The Athlete Centre utilizes the Titleist Performance Institute’s TPI Screen to analyze how physical limitations in your body can adversely affect your golf swing and limit your potential or lead to injury. We then work with you to improve your physical performance by building you an individualized program of golf-specific conditioning exercises.
